Ham Bone Soup with Great Northern Beans and Kale

Rich in vitamins and flavor, this hearty ham bone soup with white beans and kale is a great way to use up your leftover ham bone.  Plus it’s the perfect comfort food to warm your bones on a chilly or damp and rainy day!

INGREDIENTS

1 ham bone
3 strips of bacon
1 cup of onions, chopped
1 cup of carrots, chopped
8 cups of water
2 15.5 oz cans Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed
2 cups of kale, ribs removed, leaves chopped
Salt to taste
